A year trip through so different places is an extraordinary opportunity to admire the amazing diversity of nature. We were impressed by the temperate rainforests of southern Chile, the bleak extension of the Argentinian pampa, the ecosystem complexity of tropical rainforests, the adaptations to the harsh life conditions in the Altiplano or the Australian deserts, the inhospitable coast of Peru, the lunar landscapes of the Uyuni saltpan or Atacama desert, the giant fern trees of Bolivian cloudforest or New Zealand, the surprising mangrove swamps of southeast Asia and Oceania, the colour show of the Great Barrier Reef... We have tried to reflect this richness in these sections with some selected pictures of animals and plants we found on our way.
