April 2007:
We leave Montezuma... we weight anchor of our sailboat and leave Taquicardia Beach, renamed after my arrival as tAKIcardia... hehe
Wow! I really enjoy travelling by ferry, I can almost touch the seagulls that fly so close to the ship.
They escort the ship because people give them food...the problem is that these feathery friends eat fish,
but people throw all kind of stuff to them, like french fries or colorful cakes that look quite radioactive...
I guess that for seagulls it must be something like going to eat junk food to a McDonalds.
All I can see is silvery. My eyes are burning with so much magic glitter...the sea is like a mirror.
Wind combs my whiskers, I feel so free that I want to sing... and I SING!! Can you imagine? I hope you can hear me.
Sometime in the future I would like to travel with musicians...

Farewells are not my strong point, I get a bit clumsy. But this time I couldn't leave without saying goodbye to a great friend...
I'm going to talk about him, his name is OKI: impredictable life improviser. One of those persons that could be coming out of some magic story.
A story that could be anything from a fairy tale to a paperback script... one of these fools so important for the world, because they keep it alive.
If you visit Montezuma you'll probably have the privilege to meet him (tell him you are my friend).
His madness captivated me right from the first day I saw him. Actually, I didn't see him, but I heard his strong voice proclaiming boastfully his thoughts.
He has a very strong voice, you can hear it from kilometers away... I can feel it even more, because of my very sensitive ears. It's like he had a giant speaker
in his throat. If OKI built a house, the bricks would be books and the stars would be the roof. I am sure that there would be stars there even
if it would be raining outside. For the time being, this big man, the strongest friend I had in Montezuma, sleeps in the beach and baths in the sea each
morning to get rid of the hangover. Yes, he is a drunkard, but a professional one. Always free, with his bottle of "guaro", he shouts his philosophical
madness along the streets of Montezuma... he doesn't care if people don't listen to him or don't understand him.
He once said: " they pay me in tin, they charge me in gold... if everything belonged to everybody, nobody would be poor"
Sometimes people are full of prejudice and I feel very sorry for that. Oki is sometimes dirty and drunk, and almost everybody avoid him while I think
they could learn so much from him.
Some days ago, we had a drink together. I will never forget how he told me what he told me:
" and of course!... it had to complain sooner or later. I sleep but it never rests. Always here, in my chest, non-stop, sometimes I run half gaz but it is
still working full speed. Sometimes I wake up and I don't know where I am, but it is still working full speed. Sooner or later it had to complain"
Brrrr... I get goose pimples remembering how OKI talked about his heart. So much, that he made me think about where in my furry body mine is hiding.
That day, my good friend said goodbye to me: "for my mother's beard sake, it's worth being ALIVE!!!!"
I'll miss you, OKI thak you for being... Cheers!!!

May-june 2007: We are in Manuel Antonio, a little bit further south on the map. It's raining but not all the time.
There is a nice beach, palm trees and new friends. Here most people are surfers, and I think it might be great to be on top of these huge wavesss!!!
I'll have to make myself a surf board for my size and try it...
Cheers everybody!
"Hasta la vista malabarista!"
